Hi, I'm Topaz.

I started dancing at Mayhew, and went on to train at Wilkes Academy, where I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.

Today I work as a professional dancer. I'm represented by Rose Agency and perform as a member of Company Jinks. My work ranges from musicals and pantomime to music videos and live events.

I've taught commercial, hip hop, ballet, pointe, tap and stretch and conditioning at Mes Amies, Studio Seventeen and Mayhew. Commercial and hip hop are my favourites, but I love seeing a student nail their first pirouette just as much.

I want a school of my own because nothing beats seeing someone improve, and I want to share the love I have for dance with as many people as I can. Dance brings joy and a bit of escapism, and the feeling of being completely free when you dance. Everyone deserves a place to feel that, without ever being judged.

I'll be proud to build something from the ground up, but this has never really been about the business. It's about creating somewhere full of people who love dance as much as I do.

Highlights

Highly skilled in ballet, commercial, hip hop and jazz, and also trained in pointe, contemporary, Latin, modern and tap.
